Did anyone just hear that from Keenan? When asked if Orpik should have been suspended, he said that no because Stepan is fine and all he has is a bruise. Does he know something we don't?

Consider the "crosscheck" Schenn put on Crosby - they played it over and over again on NBC and it was nothing. Crosby says "yeah it was pretty dirty" shut the hell up you whiny ***** - he shouldered Shenn without the puck seconds before he got shoved from behind and he knows it. That little punk gets knocked down from behind late in a 6-3 game - and gets up looking for the refs. What is a power play going to do at that point? As soon as he gets up from that "pretty dirty" crosscheck he whines for a penalty.

It won't take 7 games to beat the Pens. The Flyers will win in 5 on pure hatred.
Dunno if youre a flyers fan or a rangers fan but you said it. Hit the nail right in the middle of the head...

So sick of being force-fed the Penguins by the NHL.

Stepan will be fine. Plus the time off until playoffs will do him good. He'll be ready to go come playoffs.

Imagine the reactions here if a Penguins fan was posting that he hoped that someone ended Lundqvist's career with a dirty hit.

The people complaining endlessly about Crosby's whining are whiners, but don't see the irony.

It was up to the Rangers to take care of their players on the ice. Not in a post-game press conference or in a chat room.

the penguins are scary talented that much is for sure.

Its sad that they resort to cheap shot tactics because Orpik is better than that.

As far as the Philly game the Vitale hit on Briere was clean so I am not sure what the problem is there, other than hurt feelings but that series should be AWESOME. Granato went ballistic...

when it comes to Stepan he was really starting to fit in nicely on the powerplay so lets hope its not too serious and that he can rest up next game. However with DS I reckon he wants to play against Washington.

FYI Pitt called up Steve MacIntyre so those calling for Scott to dress for NY are probably right.

Really hoping these two clubs meet in the second round.

Hopefully the Flyers can set things straight and get Cindy and Malkin within the rules of NHL hockey. With that said I am looking forward to seeing two flyers instigate fights with said players and beat the living tar out of them.

indeed. and to fight fire with fire wouldn't work well for the rangers. they traded their best cheap-shot artist to florida. and he wasn't really all that effective either. going toe to toe - well, knee to knee - with the pens would be a bad idea. they make the flyers look like the ice-capades. would be a pretty good gut-check for the rangers though.

Malkin torn ACL/MCL against the Sabres. Nobody *****ed and moaned.
Rupp on Staal out 15 games. It is what it is every team gets injured.

Oh and Stepan isnt even injured. Im sure the hit hurt, but thats not a knee injury.

Nobody *****ed and moaned? What planet do you live on?

Stepan isn't injured? How do you know? And if Rupp threw a flying elbow into Crosby's skull but he didn't get a concussion, would that then make it not a dirty hit?

Go back to your own board.

Get outta here. You are pickin' at straws and smoke that don't exist. Rupp/Staal wasn't remotely close to this. You guys were screaming raging and crying about how malkin was injured vs Buffalo. Pretty much steaming and demanding susepnsions be laid out of every sabre. Stepan may very well be injured. Get outta here.

Lundqvist doesn't go around doing dirty things to other players. Big difference. Crosby ASKS FOR that kind of treatment.

I don't see how any but the biggest mongoloids can't understand that. Then again, we are talking Pittsburgh.

Came to this thread hoping to get some information on Stepan. Should've figured it would degenerate like all the other threads that have anything to do with the hit or its aftermath. Its largely been a sad commentary on the fanbases of both teams.

The wishing injuries on players it just beyond reproach.
