I'm actually worried that Mac might try to kill everyone on the Philly bench. The guys' not stable.

So what. That'd let us eliminate Philthy, advance to the 2nd round without a bruise, and give us a week or two of rest.

Make it so Big Mac.

I dunno how you can play Geno and not Sid. Sid's probably the freshest player on your team.

I expect a couple fights that are predetermined. Engo-Shelly. Mac-Rinaldo or vice versa. Again, on the flip side of running guys in a meaningless game is the risk of getting suspended. Shelly and Rinaldo want to play in the playoffs just as much as any of our guys. Big Mac however...lol.

All I know is that I am so glad I sold these tickets. Gor $450 for the pair of them, for $90 seats. Hope a Flyer fan bought em.

You could rest Sid and not Geno because Sid is concussion prone and Geno isn't.

Imagine the sh**storm if Sid gets concussed on the LAST regular season game? Bylsma would never live it down IMO.

If it's me I give Malkin the first 30 minutes to get his 50th, then sit him. The circus always starts the second half of the game... not worth it. I'd play Crosby and have Asham or Mac on his line the entire time. Letang I'd sit.

Bylsma already said straight up that key players were going to have their minutes severely shortened. Should be a lot like a preseason game, I am guessing for both teams.

Geno got concussed in Russia back in 2004.

I'm still trying to find out why Asham missed practice yesterday, and is rumored not to play today. Anyone know if he's injured or something?

I would rest Letang, Crosby, Fleury, and maybe Sullivan. Malkin is shooting for 50 and the icing on a MVP cake of a season, so you have to give him lots of ice time.

Still rooting for a bloodbath!

Sit everybody. lol Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Fleury, Staal, Neal

The Pens have clinched home ice and there isn't much left to play for, aside from moral.

I wanna see us ice the best possible lineup and beat the Flyers. We need to get the win against Flyers at Consol Energy Center before the playoffs start.

Let's get the win and 50th goal for Geno! Go Pens!

Nobody will hit Sully, he'd explode into 1000 little pieces. I think they'll all play and other than pushing and shoving, I don't think anything happens at all.

I would bet that the NHL has threatened both coaches with suspensions is a brawl breaks out. I don't know that, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I disagree.

This game is important from a "Can we beat the Flyers?" standpoint. We need to make sure we have a good effort and gain the confidence that we can beat these guys, especially at home (where we still haven't in the Consol era) and going into a playoffs series against them.

Yes, I realize that this will be like a late season exhibition game for both teams, but we really need to take this one and break that goose egg on Consol ice.

I don't think either team will be too concerned about winning.

I think you'll see the 3rd/4th liners of both teams getting pucks deep and putting a licking on defensemen, hoping it pays off when the games start to matter. And I think you'll see the skilled guys not taking any unnecessary risks. And the refs will be calling everything in sight.
