Not sure, but I think they missed it completely. If they saw it, would it be considered a too many players on ice penalty. Seems like it should be more than a 2 min penalty.
Nothing. They didn't see it happen. Why they weren't watching the puck carrier is anyone's guess.
FWIW, LA was coming in the zone 3-2, although Couture was right behind Stoll, who was the puck carrier. LA was on the PP too, so if the refs would've called something, it would've made it a 5-3.

They've lost their last three .. OTL to Chicago, regulation loss to Columbus, and the OTL to Detroit. Tonight makes four in a row. Detroit hasn't won in regulation in five games (losses to CBJ, us, and NJ ... OT or SO wins against Florida and the Blues).
so none of the spots are settled in the West going into the last day of the season. East - 5 settled.
There is still just one matchup set in the east. The Rangers have #1 locked up, but still don't know who they play in the opening round. This is one heck of a final day.
