I haven't made a game yet this year but I will be at the playoffs. I was just wondering when they plan on starting the sale of tickets.
I have not heard a specific date yet. I would imagine it will happen shortly after the Blues find themselves locked into a seed (and thus locked into specific dates), assuming the generic playoff schedule is released at that time.
There will be notice ahead of them going on sale, so you shouldn't have a problem getting them. I'm also looking out for the details so I know what flights to book! Hopefully manage a road game too.
Where do you guys buy your tickets? I used to get mine on theticketguys.com with promo code insidestl. It used to give like 15% off but now it's like 5% or something like that.
actually.... I emailed my ticket rep yesterday morning about when he expects them to go on sale.
I was told the second week of April. Which makes sense since I'm sure none of the scheduling is finalized until after the regular season is actually over.

Is there a "best" site for tickets??
I use ticketguys also...they are definitely the cheapest online brokers(trust me I've checked them all), but craigslist is always a good option too. I found tickets to the last Blues vs. Hawks game day of for $30 a piece. I haggled the guy a little, but still. Also, sometimes you can find some pretty decent deals with ticket exchange but those usually go pretty quick. And if you get real desperate there's always the fine gentlemen who hang outside of the Scottrade before the game...they'll definitely help you work within your budget.
theticketblock.com is also a pretty good site. It's owned by Orlando Pace. The only bad thing is, they don't leave tickets at will call, so if you buy them close to the game, you're gonna pay more for shipping.
I usually go on craigslist, you can find some cheap tickets in the upper bowl on there.
JR and Norm Sanders both tweeted today that season ticket holders can buy their tickets now and April 4th is when they go on sale to the general public.

I use seatgeek.com It searches multiple brokers, kind of like a kayak.com for tickets.
ordering playoff tickets. Ticketmaster has NOTHING 2 seats next to eachother in an affordable section. Any suggestions from anyone here on finding them?

If you live close enough go to the box office at the Scottrade. Guaranteed lowest prices and you might be able to get a discount if you order an entire series.
I'm not sure if TicketExchange will be used for playoff games as well, but you can try there. Right now it doesn't look like it's available for playoff tickets, but that might change once the dates are announced.
It looks like Ticketmaster has released more seats for games one and two. There are a few groups of 2,3,4 seats together available on the interactive seating chart if anyone is interested. There aren't that many though, so they might go fast.
