Believe me, Oiler management/coaching has taken their fair share of critisism on this board. You would know that if you came here more often.
Oiler fans want whats best long term for the team. Omark is clearly a VERY entertaining SO specialist. He is not what this team needs. They need to get bigger.
Yeah.......

Yeah.......
Im here daily and am reading pretty much every active thread there is. Im just saying that i think its wrong to go after and try to agiate a swedish poster that in a few weeks time most likely wont be here anymore.

I still dont think Omark is a SO specialist at all, he is not good at them and before the nhl and the swiz move he hardly did SO attempts. And i understand and i agree that Omark and oilers isnt a fit, its to bad.

It's a two way street in terms of who's agitating whom.

If you really think about it, does this comment even make a little teeny weeny bit of sense?

I don't know why they aren't playing Omark. He's been effective in the games he's played this year, especially after his injury. It's too bad that the relationship might end this way, but there will be several teams at least who will pick him up and give him another opportunity on their top 6.

Agitate a poster? You mean the poster that constantly says nothing good for a team that I support, but is here for a mediocre player?

I know you are on here due to the swedish content, Nacho comes here with rose coloured glasses inregards all things "Omark" & nothing else. He is NOT an Oilers fan.

He is a troll and nothing else. Sorry.

Offcorse am here majorly due to the swedish content. I never claimed otherwise am also the first to admit im a homer when it comes to Omark.

Hes not a troll, just bad at english and i think very passionate about Omark. Also alot of the things he says isnt complete jibberish even thou due to his english it comes out that way.

Am just saying there is no reason to fan the flames, especially when there is tons more important stuff going around.

Actually I understand him just fine. You don't even adress his only coming here to caress Omarks ego. As for you, my OP was to him not you.

pretty weak roster if you ask me
and you say that because Omark could take a place in it? oh, you must not have seen him before he came over to NA, because if you did, you'd know how good he is on bigger ice. his creativity and technique is tailor-made for it.

I think it could be words lost in translation, but if that's the way he's going about it, he's getting terrible advice

Seems like he might not be aware of the fact that @replies are still visible to EVERYONE lol

Kind of a foolish thing for a guy to say.
I just get the feeling with Omark that his attitude is "I'm going to do what I want in life."

That's not always a bad attitude but it takes on a different meaning when you are a public figure in the public eye. There is a responsibility that changes with levels of notoriety that you take on when you relinquish parts of your anonymity.

I never ever ever understood everyone's infatuation with Omark. The guy is a 3rd line gimmick player who is a hot dog and has a questionable attitude. His defensive abilities are terrible. These guys are a dime a dozen in the NHL.

Was never a fan. I just hope we can get a mid round pick for him.

Meh. The Hemsky signing shut the coffin, us winning the lottery was nailing the coffin shut. He will be moved. It's not like it's another Pronger situation

Omark has offensive potential, but he's far too small on a team that already has too many small players. We at least get rid of the rabid Omark fans, or they'll continue coming here to claim how the Oilers 'ruined' him.

Blech. Don't even think we'll get a 4th now. He was hottest last year to trade. Paajarvi and Omark have no one to blame but themselves. They were given spots out of training camp and blew it.

No surprise, don't blame either him or the Oilers, he's just no longer a fit here anymore.

He realizes he isn't going to get a proper shot with the Oilers so he's hoping the organization allows him to have a shot with another team. I feel like all you Omark haters will blow this way out of proportion.

I'm pretty sure the Oilers wasting a call-up on him and healthy scrtching him was pretty much sealing the coffin with super glue and reinforcing it with rollbars.

Edmonton has already telegraphed its intention to trade Omark. He's been written off for all intents. I wouldn't call this asking for a trade per se. It's inevitable, and he's hoping to get a shot on another NHL team. Why wouldn't he? It's his dream to play in the NHL. It's what he's devoted his life to. Cut the kid some slack.
