just lose please
I dont care if isles win and you get 4th, just get at least 6th

7th would just take the spirit out of every single fan here

Here's what I see happening:

The game is tied with a few minutes left in the game, Leafs had their powerplay just end while still in Montreal's zone, lose possession and a long pass is made to the player coming out of the penalty box and that player is none other than Tomas Kaberle! Kaberle with the breakaway fakes the shot and goes to the backhand and roofs it to score the winner.

He'd probably circle around and try to pass.

Fixed. What he says and what he might do are two different things. We want the players to bust their butts and to play with pride which they can still do in a loss. The club you follow should have that attitude and the guys on the ice don't worry about draft position. Most of them don't know if they will even be on the club in 2 years.

Carlyle has to look at both angles but he can certainly experiment and mix things up a bit They didn't call it tanking but clubs always used to call up kids for a look once the playoff positions were settled. I think changes in the recall regs killed that but from a player development perspective bringing up a bunch of Marlies might be nice, even if they ended up clobbering Montreal. If they can't do that at least play the crap out of the younger guys they are already carrying and lets see what they can do. 30 minutes each for Gunnar and Franson would be a start.

I really hope we get Galchenyuk. He's underrated IMO.

Picking 4th or picking 6th will make a HUGE difference.
It's 4th or 7th.

Picking 4th with the chance to move thought right? Possibly the difference between Brayden Schenn and Nazem Kadri. Siiiiiighhhh knowing the Leafs we dominate this game and win 7-0, and talk about how beneficial this game was as we pick another 2nd tier, 3rd line prospect.

Go Habs! Looking forward to seeing Grigorenko vs Galchenyuk on HNIC for the next 10years. Sorry guys. I can't get into the Hab hating when both clubs are pot lickers. Being from Alberta it will bother me a lot less than a Vancouver Cup would or seeing that smug ***** Sather buy a Cup in NY. But I think Jerkini has it right. Scoring will be coming from every underperforming scrub in the organization and Scrivens will be a wall.
