Since it might be our last chance to see him in a Wild sweater, can I just take a moment to gush about Stephane Veilleux? That guy is the definition of "plays the right way." Leader by example. Just radiates sticktoitiveness. Love his battle level and his compete level. As far as intangibles go, he's like our Jonathan Toews.

I genuinely hope we find a way to fit him into the lineup next year. The guy has just been an unending battery out there and he is really fun to watch.

It will be interesting to see how Genoway's progressed... I wasn't impressed during preseason. (he played during preseason, right?

Edit: Also, he's 5'9"? Yikes. I'd like to see him and Spurgeon stand back-to-back.

First I thought it would be nice to have a bandwagon team from each conference. Just can't find anything from east. Must go with two western teams, Preds and Sharks. Double bandwagoning may be embarrassing but I don't care. I'm tough enough. I'm a Wild fan.

Go with the Panthers. One of the feel good stories of the east this year.

I've got a couple teams in both I think.

I need to get a couple more jerseys ready for Karkat to sport during the playoffs.

How am I doing with all of these anyway?

And Phoenix, if they win tonight, will face Chicago to open the playoffs.

Yeah, it is a great story! And I strongly symphatize them.. Just don't like their jerseys or logos. Like that's some kind of a reason, but still.

I wish Florida went with this logo. Reduce their colors down to navy and white, maybe another accent color. Get some classy uniforms kind of like Columbus' new 3rds.

Ehhhh the East already has enough Blue and White as it is if you ask me.

You did see that "how to get two jerseys for the price of one" image right?

Now, Philly plays Pittsburgh in a bit...and their series is set, no seeding implications at all... do both teams rest their stars and play the goons and get real rough, or do they play for real in an attempt to build momentum going into the series?

The only dark blue jerseys I can think of in the East belong to the rangers. IMO, there's too much red in the East, and the Panthers have the worst red jerseys ever (besides ours ).

Just looked up the image. The stripes make both those jerseys really similar. I'm talking more like this. Add some interesting piping, change up the stripes and block-lettering.

What about forest green as the main color, like ours? Or purple...

If he's as squirrelly with the puck as he was in Traverse City then he'll make MAB look like Lidstrom.

Speaking of jerseys, I really hope the greens become our primary next year. New culture, new(ish) look, starting fresh, etc
