Try to win the game and let the chips fall where they may. No need to insult your potential opponent any more than is necessary.

ha...a guy old enough to even know who randy holt is using that term. funny.
actually, i agree with you on green tonight.
dale putting green in ov's shooting spot makes him a gunner rather than a passer.
i hope it works for green.

ChuckGormleyCSN: #Rangers coach John Tortorella on describing the 3 games against Washington this season: "Don't even remember."
ChuckGormleyCSN: #Tortorella on if Caps are different under Hunter: "I don't care. I don't know anything about them. I'm only going to worry about ourselves"
Cool.

Caps can finish 7th (or possibly 3rd) with a win.

I can't figure out how Mike Milbury keeps a job.
"Ottawa loses, so if Washington wins and Florida gets a point, the Sens are the 8th seed."
Milbury: Not going to happen! Not going to happen!
Like, really, dude?

It's comical how Milbury thinks the Caps are an easy out in the playoffs.

BUF and CGY both leading late. Would bode well for the Avs' pick if NSH get do their part this evening.

Based on the season we had, and the fact that our top 2 goalies are on the shelf, yes, I can see how he would conclude that.
Here's hoping we surprise people.

Not really. We've been an easy out for the past four years and we just had our worst season since 2007. It's an entirely reasonable line of thought.

With the exception of the sweep, how have we been easy outs? Fair question, not trying instigate. There's a difference between falling short of expectations and just rolling over, I think.

What needs to happen for the Caps to win tonight and still play the Rags in round #1? Sens and Panthers win as well? Just would really like the Caps to play NY in round 1 if they can't play the Pens.
