these "revenge" games always tend to be a let down. Today's no different.

How was the officiating been?

Btw, last time Jagr played in the NHL he went cold during the 2nd half of the season until he hit the playoffs and became the best player on the ice (it was against the pens and he looked better individually then crosby and malkin - but there were two of them). I'm not sure if he'll do it again but he may save his best for the playoffs...he tends to do this...
Not unexpectedly, a small skirmish here and there but nothing egregious. Vitale and yesterday's callup, a usual non-fighter, fought early on, easy decision to Vitale. A questionable call to Jagr led to a powerplay and that was the late second period go-ahead goal. Penguins switched goalies midstream. Giroux a scratch. Neal the same.

This game proves the Giroux needs Hart consideration. The offense is like a parasite without him.

I just meant from a physical standpoint. I thought there'd be a little more fireworks since the game was meaningless.

Meh, it seems like Zolnierczyk and Talbot are out there every shift. Not exactly their big guns.

This whole third period is a snoozefest and each team is playing tentatively

GKJ what are your thoughts on Rini thought the whole season. I noticed you seemed to be the most skeptical of him during the year.

When you remove Rinaldo on a normal hit and then give Shelley a 10 for no reason, how can you not question the refs intentions. It is disgraceful

"Vitale and Zolniercyk solved it for everyone ..."? I'm glad that this is such a definite conclusion.

Maybe rest will help Jagr. He missed a lot of opportunities in last 15 games
