Hudson pulled with 2 outs in the 7th. 5 hits, 4 runs. 1 mistake. Panda hit a good pitch IMO, but that hanging slider was hit with authority. Hopefully the bullpen can lock down and close out the final 7 outs.
Well, it only took 2 games for Ozzie Guillen to put his foot in his mouth:
“What I do when I go anywhere (is) stay in the hotel bar, get drunk and go to sleep,” Guillen told the newspaper. “I get drunk because I’m happy we won or get drunk because I’m very sad and disturbed because we lose.”
The Giants were 55-9 in 2011 when they scored at least 4 runs. They are already 0-2 this year. I will say that the offense looks quite improved, and that I am not going to worry about the pitching. It will come around.
Question about the mlb.tv player. I'm just watching the free game of the day as I normally would. The problem I have is that when I adjust the quality to it's lowest, and turn off the HD setting, it keeps resetting to max quality/hd. Is there a way to just permanently disable the HD option or does it continually auto-adjust with the variations in the connection?
did you change it in the settings? there's a little gear on the bottom right of the screen. general>video has two checks on mine automatically (enable nexdef by default and optimize hardware video rendering)
3 runs have been scored in Pittsburgh through 18 innings of this series.
There's been some great pitching...and a lot of awful batting.

99% sure it's automatic. It did that a lot with me last year when I had a lousy internet connection. Some games it would stick with the setting I set it at, others it would keep adjusting...it seemed random as to whether or not it would listen to me.

This is the weakest Phillies lineup I have ever seen. Now I know what it must have been line to be a Mariners fan over the past few years, and its only 2 games in. Gotta give credit to Bedard and Karstens though.
