We need an agitator and Akim seems to fit the bill as it stands right now. Hopefully he comes up next year to play with the flames

Can you honestly cheer for your team to lose?

No I wish I could. It'd make seasons like this easier. I love watching them win, but its hard to see them suck ass for the entire season only to blow a good draft pick.

We play just well enough to not get a good pick.

Thats what was said last year too. Lets wait and see who we draft before we complain about the spot we draft at.

Not to mention Baertschi was ranked 7th on our draft list last year.

I see a drop off at around 12. When we were ranked at around 11th, we had a shot at a great player. Now that we are 15th, I don't see us having a great chance at a instant impact player. We may still get someone good, but its disheartening when the last 2 wins took us from someone great to essentially a crap shoot.

On the JayBo front: First season with the Flames - 3 goals. Last season - 4 goals. This season - 5 goals. Progress?

One more period to go.
Anybody want to wage that he'll score 6 goals next year? Might even be an offensive dynamo.

He was a physical force today both goalies were flukey but he didn't look out of place at all and didn't back down from older players. I really hope he can be our version of Ott.

Great to hear, hopefully he can stay on track and become the guy many thought he would be.

Good luck for next season Flames fans.
