Especially considering how the next season will look for Timrå, they already got a weak team but also big financial issues and they will most likely have a really weak team that will have to fight for every single point that they will get and most likely we will see them in kvalserien again.
but for timrå it will be easier to make it to kvalserien than it will be for DIF.
Hockey north of Mora needs more AS clubs, not SEL clubs to survive...
So you'd solve the gap by Timrå going down instead of a Div1 team going up?

C'mon, ironic and snidy comments aren't exactly uncommon here.

Sometimes you should think a bit before you post though, when you are cheering for the worst team in the league you aren't in a position to call other teams bad/make fun of them.

Thats some messed up logic. I, like D-A-D, those that mean i cant say that.... kayne west sucks becuse he sells more records? Or i cant say that the moron who drove inte my friends car when it was parked cant drive becuse i dont have a driverlicense? Comon..
Besides, there was one team who was worse then Timrå this season, they were so bad that they got regulated, you might remember them as Djurgården

I mean that you are cheering for the by far worst team this season that will most likely be as bad next season, why would anyone in that position make fun of other teams just because they preformed worse in a relegation-series? No team in Elitserien was as bad as Timrå, it wasn't even close. Djurgården was 20 points ahead of Timrå, that's a huge difference.
You if anyone should know how bad it is to be in kvalserien, show some respct instead of acting like a little kid.
Trust me, i show alot of respect but how many of these jokes does i get a chance to use in my lifetime? Its just a joke, i can understand that some people want to punch me on these forums when they are reading it, i mean, återtunnelbanståget, its freaking brilliant! But its just for the humor, not for creating hate. I love jokes, even if they are mean or not. I can be a very unserious person sometime. That said, whine as much as you want. Doubt there will be anymore jokes in the future tho due to "i show alot of respect".
And it only felt bad for 2 games, but after the second win i knew, nothing could stop the red eagles. Exepct Örebro Even tho it was just for a game..
If you read on DIF official forum it seems like most of them won't attend if Janne Järlefelt and Mats Larsson stays. If they leave I think most people will show up.
Surely closing the league kills development and motivation in the lower tiers and can potentially kill many sources of rich talents? Killing mobility can logically only be bad?

I couldn't agree more, Allsvenskan is working better than ever and everyone wants to kill it off? It's mindboggling.
Its not an awful idea, closing the league comes with MANY great aspects, offcourse it also comes with alot of negative ones too, but only a naive fool would think that improving sel would only creat good things. Obviously for sels development allsvenskan must suffer. And as long as people want a second league to be good as possible SEL is not going to become better at all. Allsvenskan should be sacrifaced a little. Just adding more teams to SEL would harm Allsvenskan and make the distance bigger. You cant change X with out changing Y.

I honestly couldn't care less about development when it comes to this subject.
6 years ago I watched my team face Arboga. On tuesday I watch my team face Brynäs in the SEL-finals. Fans of lower division teams needs to be able to dream.

I'm fine with closing the league, as long as Timrå's not in it.
