I went to a baseball game once.......Two friends got wasted, One friend disappeared for 5 innings, and I was texting pick up lines trying to get my girlfriend at the time.

yeah the Astros suck
But hey, at least we're losing more "professionally" than last year, right?

We've won one series in Minute Maid park in like 10 years, what do you expect?
This team will go as far as Tulo and Cargo take us. They play *hittty we're not going to win.

It makes me laugh that the Rockies announcers act so puzzled as to why the Rockies lost 17 straight on Sundays last year and continue to do so. Gee, maybe it's because Jim Tracy treats it as "B lineup" day? Third game of the season and he gives half the lineup the day off. Yeah, they must have been exhausted.
The hole at 3B is going to continue to haunt this team. I know they don't want to start Arenado's arb clock early, but the sucktitude of Chris Nelson and Jordan Pacheco is going to be really hard to stomach until June.

Oh come on, it's only been 3 games and you already say it sucks? I do agree with rest of your posts though.

It sucks because those two are AAAA players. There's a reason the Rockies desperately wanted it to work out with 39 year old Casey Blake.

I don't think Nelson nor Pacheco had enough time in the majors to be classified as AAAA players, I see Ian Stewart type players as a AAAA player so far, but not Nelson or Pacheco.

I say it ever year so I might as well get it out of the way. Fire O'Dowd. Sell the team.

The team you're looking for is the Blue Jays.

Tulo, Cargo, Pomeranz, Arenado (to some extent) dignifies a decent potential, no?
Two top 10ish hitters is a lot to build around.

Chacin is another in a long line of pitchers who had the stuff but magically forgot how to throw strikes.

From my (outsiders) POV Rockies are a team stuck in mediocrity, underwhelming pitching and hitting outside of the CarGo and Tulo duo.
But at least they're aren't a bunch of heartless overpaid losers like my Red Sox (save from Pedroia and Ellsbury) or Cubs.

Looks like the Rockies are right on track with the yearly plan: be out of playoff contention by June. Thank god for NHL playoffs. If I actually paid attention to the Rockies in April and May I'd go crazy.

I don't know if EVERYONE on the Sox is "heartless"...
I don't believe Gonzalez is, and I believe that Youkilis gives it his all when he is in the lineup.
But you are right about one thing...little Pedroia give 150% effort every night.

I haven't been this disappointed in a Rockies home opener since Mike Hampton
It's ok if you lose to the Giants - they are talented. But this game today was an utter disgrace.
