The only difference is if the Oilers win against the Canuck. An Oilers win would put us 29th in the win if we had lost the game.
I prefer winning a game against the Leafs.

Well, we know which team's the proudest.
Your team is in a much better situation and Nash is overrated...

Worst season, ever.
Add some sandpaper to the D corps, and maybe this team can scratch and claw for a playoff berth next year.
Oh, yeah...keep Staubitz.

I am truly excited for next year with new management and a new coaching staff coming to Montreal.
This city and this storied franchise deserved better than what we had this season. And change is coming and I am confident (really hoping very hard) that it will be for the better.
Go Habs Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for 5th overall.
Aren't you 6th overall ? I'm sure you beat Anaheim in your only matchup against them this year, which is the tiebreaker between the two clubs since you got the same ROW.
EDIT : NVM. You better not get in front of us.

Here we are at the end of the season and all I can think about is Staubitz defending a 6-on-5.
Sigh. Randy will be Randy 'till the end.

in fact we're 3rd
we have 78 points and Anaheim has 80.
The only chance we have the 4th pick is if a team behind us win the lottery pick.

Looking on the bright side, I'll be able to enjoy stress free playoff hockey, the world championship and a top 4 draft pick.
Lets hope for a productive offseason!

It was a Leafs fan thanking the Habs for beating the Leafs, which put them in the bottom-5 of the league.

I hope the Leafs don't win the lottery, their team doesn't even try to win. For example:
Blocked shots tonight: Habs 21, Leafs 7.

Guaranteed of 1st, 3rd or 4th overall pick. Not good enough? There are no 'sure things' you know.

I don't really care that we "helped" the Leafs unless they win the lotto...

Well he did score an EN goal so he should of been used in earlier games.

That tends to mean the Leafs had the puck more, not that the Habs were braver, given that the Leafs otherwise outshot the Habs.
But then the Habs had a 2-goal lead for most of the game, so that'll happen.
