assuming we can't win the Yakupov sweepstakes, gotta be Gal - he's destined to be here, i think. we don't need D (especially if we can lure Gardiner's buddy here.) we need high-end offensive prospects. trade up a spot or two if necessary.

as for this season? Kessel, Lupul, Gardiner, Gunnarson, you're all great. Grabo, you're fine and I hope you're 2C here for a long time. Kulemin, you'll get back to your old self. otherwise, good riddance to a terrible disappointment, one of my worst years as a Leafs fan.

Lets just hope Burke doesn't trade away.

Well what was looking to be a great post season for the Leafs in January turned into tears, anger and misery by the end of February. At least finishing in the bottom 5 soften's the blow. Sad season but hopefully that changes next season. If we win the Lottery I'll be laughing.

I don't know why people are so confident of Gally coming here.
Edmonton will take BPA not a D man, bank on it. Which means we will not get Grigs (obviously) or Gally.

Wouldn't bet on it, they'd be an idiot not drafting a Defensemen.

So... Are we sure we're top 5?

Someone brought the point up of the head-to-head with Anaheim, and since we beat them this year...

Psychich are ya? How do you know it wont make a difference? We have a chance of a higher pick as well...hinges on %'s of moving up but tis possible. I am excited to see what happens this off-season. As Healy outlined Burke has work to do. Monster is gone for sure...then we have a cpl ufa's and rfa's to sign and really the only one I care about is Frattin. Our AHL affliate is doing really well, meaning that those prospects burke has landed us are doing really well developing.

When you look at a PRO team you have to look at their AHL team as well. The Canadiens; on the other hand are last place in the entire AHL. I am glad I am not a Habs fan. They are screwed beyond belief. Possibly worse then we ever were. The bulldogs being last and NHL being last is horrendous. The big leafs finish 5th last BUT 4th OVERALL. There is way more light at the end of our tunnel.

Even with the #2 or #3 pick its not going to rebuild the Habs overnight. Regardless if this lotto pick player comes up right away or not...he will be another bullet in our arsenal of very good prospects.

Ross, Mckegg, Kadri, Colborne, Abbott, Ashton, Biggs, Percy, Blacker, Holzer---Scrivens to name a whole bunch of talent---

At least we are headed in the right direction. The hardest part this off-season is that #1 center..the other pieces I think Burkie will get done notta problem. But that elusive #1 center will be the most difficult...and here's hoping maybe we draft our own...may not be an impact right away..or he maybe OR maybe Colborne comes up next year and tears it up..he has the potential. All year, everytime Joe got the callup he played great having almost as many points as Kadri in half has many games.

Excited !! I pray though NO LOCKOUT..that would blow
