Phoenix @ Minnesota (7 PM); Potentially Meaningful: Los Angeles @ San Jose (9:30 PM)
Scenarios:
If Coyotes win or lose in OT/SO and Kings win in SO or lose:
3. Coyotes
7. Winner of Sharks/Kings game
8. Loser of Sharks/Kings game
If Coyotes lose in OT/SO and Kings win in regulation:
3. Kings
7. Coyotes
8. Sharks
If Coyotes lose in regulation:
3. Winner of Sharks/Kings game
7. Coyotes
8. Loser of Sharks/Kings game
---
I'm watching with interest to say the least.
Sorry, BelugasandBHawks, for making this GDT.

I guess I'd prefer San Jose, but to be honest, it really doesn't matter to me at this point. Get Toews back, build on what this team has been doing the last several weeks, and attack the Western Conference.

Are you asking if he will, or if he should? I personally think he shouldn't, it's probably too risky. I have no idea if he will or not. I know he wants to.

Why do you want to face Mike Smith?

Phoenix struggles in the playoffs and Smith has never won a playoff start. They are much more preferred in the first round than Nashville would have been.

Much better chance against Smith than Rinne (although that doesn't matter since Detroit will) or Quick. Much rather face him or Nemo. (although both still give us fits too but Nemo always seems to play well against us)

Phoenix with a two-goal lead after two. Still plenty of time for Minnesota to get a couple.

Vrbata makes it 4-1. It's looking more and more like Phoenix.

COMMIT TO THE INDIAN BOYS!....Get ready for those 'Yotes' in the Desert...
Hawks should have the 'Snowbirds' from CHI filling up Glendale for this one...whoever said it in another thread about being '7-home' games...isn't too far from the truth there.
