On that information, I'll withdraw my earlier criticism of RC for this.
Did everything for Leblanc's parents to go see his first NHL game in Anaheim, is helping Pacioretty turn into a dominant power forward and took him under his wing off the ice,he and his wife host a supper for the whole team at his house when he's the new guy in town, high fives a ref when scoring a goal.

I love this guy. He's what being a hab is all about.

Definitely the guy that really embraces what playing hockey in such a great city is really all about. He is an awesome player and human being.

Desharnais was actually kneeling on the boards at one point and still barely looked taller than Patches or Cole beside him. Pretty hilarious.

i can't believe he got to wear number 11

Look at the past players who wore it

Muller Koviu true heart and soul guys that gave it everything they had every game

maybe it was the pressure of wearing number 11 that got to gomez

he wasn't that bad wearing number 91

Would be awesome to be the one who had won Subban's jersey. Got to do the triple low five with him

Hoping Cunneyworth stays with the organization. What a mess of a team he was left with.

I'm glad we won. Final home game of the season, and the boys played well.

Budaj needs more games next season.

Congrats to great seasons by Cole, Patches & DD. Pleks needs wingers, but he's still boss!

2011-2012 season done. 1st time we've finished last since 1940. Brutal.
Guys like Staubitz and White would be absolutely loved by their team mates....happens with every team, where the better players appreciate the fact these guys have their backs...

Would love to see White, Blunden and Staubitz as our 4th line next year...

Hoping we sign a Top-6 winger, I'd rotate Blunden, Darche, and Staubitz in and out of the line-up.

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
XXX (Whitney, Parise, Semin, Penner, etc) - Plekanec - Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Leblanc
Moen - White - (Blunden/Darche/Staubitz)

Of course, this is without whoever we draft. If we manage to get Yakupov (or possibly Grigorenko), maybe they can fit in now, in which case I'd probably let Leblanc go back to the AHL for a little awhile.

BELL CENTRE, Y U NO LET ME WIN GAME USED JERSEY OR 500$ BEST BUY GIFT CARD?.

I was at the game last night; the Bell Centre went nuts when Staubitz scored from the other end of the ice; i thought the goal was scored by Budaj untill i saw the replay.

He was amazing, we needed a guy like that, and for all the PG bashing, this was one of his good moves...the guy seems to be an amazing leader and vet, and someone who can help mould some of our young guys...

30G 30A going forward would be great to see from him, he also seems to really value the Habs and the fans, filling the building every night...

I am not a fan of Staubitz like players (two goons fighting each other is a circus act imo) but I noticed it too and, with his next contract in mind, it does speak loudly in his favor.

A quick comment regarding Saint-Denis: the more I see him play, the closer he gets to Diaz in my depth chart.

I am somewhat nitpicking here (I agree with most of your post) but imo Moen is a legit and good 3rd liner. The way I see it, if we can re sign Moen (big "if"), our shut down line next season would be Moen – Eller – (Bourque/Leblanc).

Me too.

What's even worse is, had the habs stormed back, made the playoffs won the cup people would still complain about him being unilingual.

No video of the Stauby goal ? Loved how excited the bench was.

Really?

Everyone in my surrounding dislike Cunneyworth... because he was a clueless coach with a philosophy full of clichés from another century – not because his language skills are limited to one language!

With all due respect for those 3, we will be in trouble if that's our 4th line next season.

White for sure, i'd re-sign Staubitz as a 12th/13th forward. Blunden should probably be in the AHL.

The fourth line doesn't necessarily need to score, they can't be getting scored against though. Last night they had some great shifts in Toronto's zone, keeping the puck deep and buzzing around.

I haven't seen Diaz play in so long now I can't quite remember how he looks compared to St. Denis, but he impressed him in his late season call up.

Staubitz was a +2 in 19 games with us. Blunden was only a -1.

I know +/- is a team stat, but I can't remember them getting scored on too often.

Ryan White was a -7 (probably from his time with Plekanec) and Darche a -4. Moen was a -3.

I think those 5 could make up a killer 4th line. I know Moen is good enough to be a 3rd liner but I'd rather give Bourque the shot to start the season. I also think Leblanc has played well enough to stay in the NHL - but he would need to be on a somewhat scoring line, rather than a defensive line.

I also liked Palushaj in the past few weeks - but I don't see the room for him unless we make no changes up front (which, in reality, could still be a good enough team to JUST make the playoffs).

If we win the lottery and draft Yakupov we have to find room for him too.

If Moen doesn't want to come back, it'll suck, but I think we can get by with a 4th line of Blunden, White, Darche, and Staubitz. If they can chip in 10 goals and be around a -2 to a +2, then we've they've done their job.
