Do you guys think Bobkov will be our AHL starter/part of a tandem next year? And where does Tarkki end up? His number are decent (8th in sv% while facing the third most shots in the league). I wouldn't mind having him back up Hiller or be part of a tandem with Bobkov (if JDD backs up Hiller)

Tarkki and JDD will both likely be gone.

He had two games in October. Maybe it's better not to go with the knee jerk response with this player.

Meaning Fasth backs up Hiller and Bobkov/Cousineau in the AHL?

I don't think JDD will be gone. No one is going to take him in a trade and buying him out would just make Murray look bad, since he's already going to have to buyout Sexton. Plus we aren't that lucky.

Tarrki won't re-sign a 2 year deal, although I'd like him to. He will go back over seas. JDD will be #1 goalie in AHL backed up by one of our prospect goalies. Basically we will be paying 2 goalies what we paid Ellis this year. Sucks, but surprise, Murray is GM.

From everything I've heard he plays like a ***** in the AHL as well. A less talented Penner. We'll see.

If BM traded McElehnney for Ellis... He'll be able to trade JDD.

I think Murray will consider buying him out.

JDD shouldn't be untradeable. We won't get much in return, but moving him shouldn't be a problem. Wasn't there talk of Sexton going to Europe next season?

Well he is regarded as the second best from Sweden behind only Lundqvist.

When JDD was here in Crunchland, he played like he just did not want to be here. Seemed to be totally off his game, and played like he did not just give a frig. Really looked like he had caught the Pascal Leclaire "I aint playing in Syracuse" attitude. For a player making as much as he was to play here, he did not seem like he wanted to play here or be here. Very disappointing from a supposed pro athlete who could have really helped the organization.
His departure was a god send for the Crunch as his attitude was so bad it was even bringing down the War Memorial ushers and the Crunch team mascots.

Looks like Palmieri finally notched one after being sent down.

Looks like the Crunch won.

Think they send DSP down, either to his juniors team (if still alive) or to the AHL?

Can they send him to the AHL? I hope so.

Is he eligible? If so, send him to Syracuse. Kid deserves something after the effort he gave us.

I'm pretty sure they can as long as his juniors team is eliminated. Which I'm too lazy to check on.

I don't think the Greyhounds made the playoffs.

Edit: Which would mean something if he played for them.

Edit2: Mississauga is eliminated.

Well then, between us we've settled it. Put Devante on the next plane to Pound Ridge or Fish Kill or whatever dinky New York town they play in next.

I think he would have had to have been on their clear day roster to be eligible.

Maybe he'll get an invite to play with Team Canada in Finland.

Good to see Palmieri get back on the board especially down the stretch when they need him.

Medicine Hat is about to go down 2-0 in their series with Moose Jaw, so the Crunch might be getting an additional dose of speed and skill here in the next week.

It seems likely that the Crunch will play the IceCaps in the first round.
