I have family up north. I will talk to my uncle and see what's the plan.

All completely and utterly meaningless.

We take this series in 4. We are the deeper, more consistent team. We've been playing playoff style hockey for months. Bring on the second round.

Just played a game on NHL 12, Rangers beat the Sens in OT 2-1, with gabby tying it with 4.2 to go
book it

I'm expecting my Sens to be a tough opponent that loses a hard fought series in 6 or 7.

Anderson has been great this season; well since he came to Ottawa really. The defense is suspect though, from the entire team. The worst is our slot. I can't believe how bad their coverage is in the slot.

Uh, you're about to face (probably) the biggest team in the NHL and many of them like to play physical.

Greening 212 - Spezza 216 - Michalek 225
Foligno 210 - Turris 195 - Alfie 196
Klink 214 - Z.Smith 212 - Condra 190
O'Brien 200 - Winchester 206 - Neil 215

Kuba 225 - Karlsson 180
Phillips 221 - Gonchar 212
Cowen 230 - Carkner 237

6th Neil = 271 hits
19th Cowen = 217 hits
31st Foligno = 196 hits
33rd Greening = 189 hits
57th Z.Smith = 168 hits
101st Phillips = 134 hits
Klinkhammer = 47 hits / 15 gp
Carkner = 58 hits / 29 gp
Winchester = 51 hits / 32 gp

I'm not sure what the exact lineup will look like, but I do expect Butler, Konopka, Gilroy and Daugavins to be the scratches most games. Though I suppose Gilroy and Daugavins could just as easily play in the series.

All meaningless, yes, but this team isn't built to sweep. To win, yes. To sweep, no. These games will be close but the Rangers really are better and should emerge the victor.

The Habs, in turn, stole it from the Montréal Montagnards.

I typically co-opt it for my needs as an Olympiques fan, however I enjoy singing it in arenas everywhere. I started singing Les Éperviers sont là in Detroit this year, to the delightment of the Blackhawks fans nearby (if they didn't know that 'Épervier' means Blackhawk, they did by the end of the night!), and to the dismay of the Red Wings fans that severely booed me a few times throughout the night. I was the loudest one there though!

lol. A team which ices players like Karlsson, Spezza, Alfie, and Michalek, and we are worried about Girl-roy. There is a reason why he was given that derogatory title.

I feel the same about Ottawa as I did against Atlanta in 2007... not much hate there but I am sure we will grow to dislike them as the series progress. Hopefully the end result is the same.

Rangers looked like a team that has mentally checked out the past few games because they are looking ahead to the playoffs, so I think they should be amped up and ready.

Oh, and Gilroy isn't a concern at all. Once things get physical he disappears, that's something that Rangers fans should remember about him.

If we can't beat the Sens we're not going to go anywhere anyways... so in that respect i'm not concerned at all.

We seem to be the only team the Caps can beat in the playoffs so its good we avoided that matchup.

Neil missing this series would be a very good thing for the Rangers.

Carkner, on the other hand...

Good God I hope we call up Borowiecki or someone for the playoffs.

Unless this series ends in a sweep, and a final score of 25-0, this board will explode lol.

If they drop either of the first two home games the board might explode. If they go up 2-0 and lose one in Ottawa I think people will be less likely to freak out.

Very happy not to see Boston.

Both teams did not end their season on a winning streak.

I think you underestimate the stupidity of some on these boards. We're having people saying we're going to lose the first round because we lost a meaningless game today. Some of those people are saying Hank sucks. 'nuff said.

I have a bad feeling about this series, Ottawa is an explosive team with the right amount of youth and experience. This is going to 7
