I'm just pointing out that getting mad at the NHL for not doing anything is ridiculous. You're asking them to disregard their own rulebook.

So in order for Vancouver to drop 2nd they have to lose in regulation right ?

Correct.

It's simply a missed call by the officials. Nothing more, unfortunately

Yup. If they get to overtime, they get the PT and 1st in the West. And they lead right now 1-0 late in the 2nd period.

Personally, I'd rather face the nux than the blues.

I just think it will be more intense, playing against the nux.

That's the very reason I don't want to face them in the first round. I don't want to be swept out of the second round if we are successful...the SC playoffs is a "pace yourself" exercise. I want to go far this year.

As I mentioned in another thread, my feeling is that an a-hole vs. a-hole first round matchup (as in, Van vs. SJ) is always a good thing, as one a-hole gets eliminated right away.

I'm merely speaking of our intensity. Having a winning record against the blues makes me feel a bit uneasy.

What a terrible shift by Williams. man, the guy blows me away sometimes. he's either scoring goals or doing something that makes you shake your head.

San Jose had their best chances all thanks to a stupid pass by Matt Greene that kept the puck inside their own end.

I think Quick got a piece of that. Love it. We are playing some good hockey, need to settle it down a bit though, watch those turnovers, and plug up the neutral zone. Starting to turn into run and gun, can't let the Sharks get speed on the breakout, that's exactly what they want.
