As far as ice time goes Hak didn't have much choice with all the injuries. He had 17 skaters which 2 were D that had to play forward. Just the way things shook out this year.
My good source up in Grand Forks has informed me they all may be coming back and that includes Kristo. Time will tell but if that happens they should be loaded for bear next season. Rocco will be at 100% come next fall as will O'Donell and Rodwell. Hak has another top 5 recruiting class coming in so things are looking good even if a few of em leave early.
Hopefully Colton St. Clair will have his academics in order too.

I know that the recruiting class is probably top 5 but I was just curious if there was actually a site that ranks them. It would be nice if ESPN or someone did it and had like the Top 100 recruits.

If Seth Jones decides to play for the Sioux then I would guess that recruiting class jumps to #1.

He got an assist on the only goal the Wild scored tonight. I thought he did fine and for 1 game anyway it looked like he belonged.
I found that pretty sweet. If Minnesota wasn't gonna help SJ win the pacific, the only goal would have a former Sioux player in on the scoring might sting their fan appreciation night a bit . Mwahaha. He looked good out there.
I got the chance to meet and talk to Cary Eades a couple weeks ago at the Cedar Rapids vs Team USA game. He was there talking to Riders player and ND recruit Jack Rowe. Rowe currently has his arm in a sling. Eades is a very nice guy and we talked about current ND player Michael Parks. Parks also is a former Roughrider (where I am a season ticket holder). Even though I had my Wisconsin Badgers hat on I did not dare bring up the water bottle incident!
Good to see the coach of the year got an extension. He definitely deserves it not only after this year but for his overall body of work the last 8 years.
Cary Eades contract not renewed for the upcoming season. This came out of the blue to me. I just wonder with Haks new multi year contract that Eades knew he wouldn't be the head coach at UND for a long time and wanted out himself. Not sure but I'm sure their is more to come out on this story. I thank him for all his dedicated years at UND as he bled green and was a true Fighting Sioux through and through. Wish him nothing but the best in wherever the road takes him.

It's a big shock, I don't think that this will be the end of his coaching career though.
