Can't wait to see us take 50 point shots per game to be shutout four straight times.

Sooo, over under on number of Sharks goals in the series? 2? 3?

I think we lose in 5,get shut out 3 times, win one game 3-1, and lose one 2-1. This series is gonna be boring.

Did LA troll us by letting us come back and win?

Why is that McLellan? We need a Hitchcock one.

Whether it's by slaughter or by suffocation, a loss is a loss and that's what lays ahead for the Sharks.

Problem is if the Sharks can't solve Hitchcock's stifling Low risk (Clog Neutral Zone) and High Reward (make other team pay) system, we're boned.

This series is going to be about big hits, wearing them down, and making sure we take advantage of every mistake. The Blues are a very beatable team. We have the depth to take these guys on. Our regular season record means nothing. These are the playoffs, and everything changes.

I have faith in my team. We're going in hot and with a lot of emotion and energy. I like our chances against anyone.

Let's just take em out early.

If the Kings beat Vancouver I'll be seriously pissed. Especially if this team gets swept.

It's gonna be a long, tough series I think. We don't match up very well with the Blues but I'm confident we can wear them down over the course of a series. Sharks in 7.

True. That's why I think we can win in 6. 5 if we're better than we thought.

This will rely heavily on our bottom 6 guys if our top 6 guys get cancelled out by whatever they send our way; and our bottom 6 is pretty good if Handzus is out.

Kevin Hart of all people is probably gonna force this series to start Thurs/Sat. Ugh. Thanks for nothing you two bit hack of a comedian. lol

I should blame Scottrade Center for booking him for Friday the 13th. That's quite a big venue for Kevin Hart.

Perhaps all the whiners should pretend the season is over now and go watch baseball.

Blues are a good team and we did nothing to show that we match well against them during the regular season. Plus, we're spent from just getting to the show. Blues in 5 is realistic, hope i'm wrong.

Some of you need to get a grip. The Blues are now the hunted..this will be new territory for them. Sharks for the first time in a long time are the underdogs. They have nothing to lose.

Hmm lets see.

Face last year's Conference champs, or face a team that missed the playoffs last year?

I like our chances better with the Blues.

Sharks in 6, but picked 4 because I'm a shameless homer.

Go Sharks.
Thank you!! I totally agree with you. If the Sharks do all that and play like they want to win, they can beat the Blues. Everybody please stop being so pessimistic and show some damn confidence in our guys! Sure we've had a really up and down season but we're obviously good enough to be in the playoffs so lets show some support! How long has it been since the Blues have won a playoff series?? The Sharks just need to stay out of the box, be quick and first to the puck and fire lots of pucks at Elliott.

True, but St. Louis is simply lacking in overall offensive talent. The Sharks can beat the Hitch's' system. I believe the Sharks have that extra gear in them for the playoffs.
