Murray shouldn't have a chance. Nice longevity, but until the Sens made the final in 2007 he had never coached out of the 2nd round and those were with some choke job teams in Washington. He just always seemed nervous behind the bench. He looked nervous like a deer in the headlights.
Keenan is one of the most polarizing characters in NHL history, but he is very much a results-orientated coach who did a lot of winning and took a lot of teams deep in the NHL. Plus the two Canada Cups. They asked Keenan, and not Murray, for a reason. Keenan deserves to get in before Pat Burns (God rest his soul) as much as people hate hearing that
