KHL is awesome. Woman interviews players. Calls it "The Kitchen."

Imagine if the NHL did something similar and named it the same.

That player looks half stoned and half nervous....making hockey players uncomfortable by having pretty women interview them, awkward. Can she interview Kessel?

In USSR kitchen was considered to be traditional place for intelligentsia to debate and discuss life. And it still is. So kitchen isn't only the place to cook food, but the place to welcome guests and friends. So this is what they do on that tv show, talk about life.

Obligatory HFBoards remark "I see better looking women on the streets of my hometown everyday."

Obligatory question: what's your hometown? I'd like to spend some time there...just walking around the streets....

nah I still think it's unintentionally sexist and deep down they know it... It's just how we post-soviet people still are

I really like how the KHL is putting all these shows on their youtube page, as a foreign KHL fan it makes it so much easier to follow.

Lol, immediately thought of Arshavin with his "women shouldn't be allowed to drive" comment

Russia can be kind of sexist at times; I doubt it's even deliberate, just the way things are.
