I got kicked from a lobby for being a level 2 Drell Adept, despite my overall rank being in the 240's.
What does your overall rank have to do with anything? If you're playing a silver or gold game, unless you're using a high level character then you'll be worthless to the team. So you deserve to be kicked.
Taking on Kai Leng on my insanity run (the final fight), having a tough time though. Every time he comes close, it's basically an insta-kill sword move that I can't avoid.

Plenty of people kick Drell Adepts simply because of Reave.
Beause Reave is sic?
It sets up detonations, it detonates them, it had a 3M radius (if skill selected correctly) and it is the best biotic combo maker and breaker in the game?
A single Drell Adept can be good or bad based on the player. A Drell Adept paired with other biotics is a ****ing monster.
Pull is ****ing useless, and the grenades can tear **** up. I can take down a Banshee or a Brute easy with a toss of my grenades.
Not to mention the Drells move speed is the fastest and his melee is AoE (IF it ever comes to ****** situations).
Plus with Reaves 40% damage reduction on the Drell his stats come out actually slightly better than other Adepts. I know he has the lowest HP and Shield of them all overall but with Reave it's slightly better.
But yeah, most teams want an Asari Adept for Stasis and I can't say I blame them. But a team of an Asari Adept and a Drell Adept can wreck faces.
The only good thing about random packs is that they're likely the only thing keeping MP DLC free. There are a surprising number of people spending real money on those packs, making it a cash cow for Bioware/EA to keep MP going.

So, I should avoid pull all together?
Some scrub over xbl sent me a hate message tonight complaining that I was taking all the kills.
Pull isn't completely useless, Pull+Reave is a pretty much instant detonation, and it can yank the shield off the Cerberus Guardian dudes. Other than that though...not so helpful.
All this talk of ME3 made me go and *cough* 'Buy' Mass Effect 1. Got a-ways in until I hit Noveria, where I was hit with a nice bug that turns every character in to giant black, pixalated, distorted blobs. I'm not kidding, it's ridiculous.
An example (Not my screenshot) of what I'm dealing with
No, because of the sound glitch. I don't play the game at a high volume so it doesn't bother me, but I can see why it annoys people when it's the same sound over and over and over, especially with headphones.

You're playing as a sentinel right? Just spam overload on him. When he calls in his lap dogs (the 3 times he makes the floor explode) just throw your grenades and the nades will take care of those guys pretty quickly.
Ashley again is kickass here with the Revenant gun and her Marksman power. Order her to shoot at Leng while you run around the room in a circle overload'ing him and he gets taken down more quickly. EDI is basically useless here unfortunately.
-Everyone plot-important on the Citadel survived.
-Although the relays are still broken, FTL drives are greatly enhanced to such a degree that the relays are no longer needed.
-The mass relays did not explode so much as short-circuit themselves.
-Weekes wanted to do cinematics showing the assets in action, but it would have taken too much time and money. He seemed disappointed that he couldn't show off the volus dreadnought Compensator (no, really).
-Weekes wasn't happy with Harbinger's absence either.

What a ****ing ******** copout.

Sounds like they also ran out of money and time to do more stuff.
Story of every video game ever.
They actually investigated multiplayer in the original mass effect but realized they had nowhere near the experience or resources to make it worth the effort.

Yup. I think everyone here would have accepted a delay in the game's release date if this was the case.

They had 26 months and more money than they've ever had to make a game with..? The same amount of time they had to make Mass Effect 2. And Mass Effect 1.
Two year cycles are the norm, unless you're building a new engine. Which they did not. If Naughty Dog can build Uncharted 2 in 22 months, no one else has an excuse.
Let's all remember, BioWare doesn't have a great track record on the technical side, either.

Yeah I've got EDI and Liara....shoulda brought along someone heavier, which I usually do.
Was having the toughest time though because, just as the fight starts, there's that little cutscene where he shatters the floor the first time, and then lunges at you. Once he reaches you, there's really nothing you can do, and it's game over. So keeping my distance has been a challenge, especially from the damn grenades tossed by Marauders. I've been killed by those things with full health and half a shield.
Thanks, though, I'll try to keep overloading him and wear him down.
