well another sad season ends. With all the high priced nm/nt contracts aging core and limited prospects this may last awhile. I believe Feaster is limited to tweaking by King/owners so not much will change. this is starting to look like it was when Iggy got here now it's Sven. 3 years and counting I think they hit 6.
Depends on the offseason moves. I think that if the team stays the same (Kipper and Iginla) and they tweak slightly, then we might squeeze in the playoffs next year. This is the bad scenario because we get bounced in the first round.
The good scenario is we trade whatever we can (including kipper and Iggy) for young roster players and good picks. Next year we have all the rookies and youngsters get a taste of full time NHL. We miss the playoffs but will be ready for the following season.
