He doesn't fit the profile, but I'm sure the Sabres would entertain offers for Roy.

I think everybody overestimates the role that Yakupov being from Russia would play in the Jacket's decision making. The Blue Jackets haven't had problems developing Russians. They've had problems developinghockey players. Gilbert Brule, Alexandre Picard, and Pascal LeClaire say hello. Maybe not so much LeClaire, that guy is as durable as a wet paper towel.

I think I would consider something around Radulov and Carlson. I know it's off-topic, but while we're at it...

Too bad the Avs overpaid the crap out of Statsny, he'd be a nice pickup.

We'll never get Duchene or O' Reilly, dream on.

most avs fans are open to dealing duchene, i could see them being being receptive to something around carlson.

Avs want a left side defenseman. They'd target Alzner, not Carlson. Problem is the Capitals have a lot less high upside depth on the left side.

Most of the Avs fans are delusional if that's the case.

How about Green and Perreault both are (rfa) to Anaheim for Holland and Maroon

Green was super productive under Coach B he should fit right in
Perreault showed some promise but he is undersized
The Caps need to get bigger and meaner

Holland is a cemter
Maroon is a left-wing with some size

I can not find face-off stats for Holland but I am going to guess he will be better than Johansson 43%
Johansson needs to work on his face-offs are move to the wing
I think he look pretty solid on the wing.

Of-course the trade will free up some payroll

So no interest in Ribeiro, then? Both posts were just totally ignored.
