Sorry, but no. Your fan base has got under our skin. Way too much arrogance. Hope all that hockey the Bruins have played the last two years catches up to them and they burn out to a hungrier Caps team.

Good luck though, Ovie and Backstrom are coming for you guys.

Draft Lottery today. We're not in it, but we do have 3 divisional foes there, including 2 in the top 5.

a team can jump a maximum of 4 spots

teams that can push both the habs and leafs down a notch:
Anaheim 6.2%
Minnesota 4.7&

teams that can push just the habs down a notch:
New York Islanders 10.7%
Toronto Maple Leafs 8.1%

teams that can push just the leafs down a notch
Carolina Hurricanes 3.6%
Winnipeg Jets 2.7%

overall:
50.2% chance Montreal drafts 3rd and Toronto drafts 5th
14.2% chance Montreal drafts first overall (and toronto drafts 5th)
10.9% chance both Montreal and Toronto are knocked down a spot (to 4 and 6)
10.7% chance Toronto stays where it is and montreal is knocked down a spot
8.1% chance Toronto drafts first overall and montreal is knocked down a spot
6.3% chance Montreal stays where it is and toronto is knocked down a spot

I, for one, am cheering for minnesota's slim chance. Drops both our divisional rivals and really, minnesota could use some good news this season.

Still cheering for the Bruins.

Can't wait to see Burke on the draft lottery show haha. Still annoys me that the NJD moved up last year as I would've liked if Ottawa had the option of picking between Larsson/Strome/Zibanejad/Couturier, but oh well. Heres hoping someone can move up and spoil the party for Toronto as well!

Ottawa did not want to have anything to do with Couturier.

I was always skeptical about that decision, and now Couturier is looking pretty great. Zbad is also looking awesome though so it's not that big of a deal, but I really sounds like a boneheaded decision...

Would have picked Larsson given the choice to be honest.

Kind of extreme way of putting it, when they brought him in for a predraft workout like the others. He was considered.

I dunno if anyone watched the Burke presser but he is as arrogant as ever. He wants to get bigger and dictate how games are played. The SAME message as when he first came to town.

Big big big summer for Burke here....it'll get interesting

I think he was saying he's afraid of the Bruins in a round-a-bout way.

I don't know if Bryz knows that Bruin = Bear. His English is good, but not great, and not many people call bears bruins these days...

If the Leafs win the lottery or get second and get to draft Yakupov or Grigorenko and either of them make the team out of camp next year, that AND a signing in the summer and the Leafs make the playoffs next year.

Should be interesting to see what happens. Go Oilers! Would be amazing to see them get another top forward. They can use Murphy or Dumba though on D.

Toronto can only get 1st, 5th, or 6th. They can either move up, stay where they are, or get pushed back like Ottawa did last year.

Ah okay thanks for pointing that out. They can still get a damn good player at that pick though. Filip Forsberg, Ryan Murphy, Matthew Dumba.

I will rage if they win the lottery. Of course they would get to win it and not us.
