Depending on how the series timing works out though CHI might be the best draw available on one of the weekend days. I hope you are right and they build the schedule around that though.

I wouldn't have thought PHX @ Detroit would have been the ideal game for the early slot last season but it worked out that way.

If we have the Thursday start that makes home game 2 Saturday and that will certainly be a late game. If we start Wednesday though we could end up early on Sunday.

Anyone have a link to all the nhl.com experts predictions for playoffs, and others? We weren't expected to make the playoffs, let alone win the division.

Our perfromance is a joke to everyone. I don't think anyone expected us to do what we did. That's in the past, and I'm not planning any parades. 1 game at a time in the playoffs. I'm tired of getting an early exit.

Towes or no Toews this system can beat the Blackhawks and Chicago's goaltending and defense will be an issue.

Sadly though we are facing a team that has both Lepisto and Carcillo and I never once thought we would face them in the 1st round.

It was his hit that nearly ended the Nucks season early last year ,, That woke the Hawks up and Keith beasted from that moment on

They really hate Torres in Hawks lockerooom

As for this series ,, The Coyotes do present several major problems for Hawks and Vrbata always kills the Hawks (Payback for Tallon dumping him?)

Either way I expect a good hard fought series

Playoff hockey - it's a different breed. I just hope it's a better outcome than last year. 3 years in a row though, this team is something special.

As I was talking about in the other thread, tickets are already pretty limited for Game 1. By my count there are 2800 left available to the public.

I'm sure a lot of resellers gobbled them up like last year, so if you haven't bought tickets yet go getem quick else be stuck with the 2nd market. Playoff priority expired April 1 so what's left is left AFAIK.

Hey Canucks fan coming in peace.. Congrats on the Division title, looks good on the Yotes! Chicago I think may be the best possible match up for you guys. Your systems play will have a great chance at frustrating the Hawks (as long as someone keeps Raffi on a short leash) and I'm thinking if you get good goaltending from Smith you have a real shot at taking out that arrogant bunch... hopefully!
