Does anyone know if the Frozen Four is being covered by any networks in Canada? I looked into TSN, TSN2, NHL Network, Sportsnet, and the Score but it isn't on their schedules. Leafs TV carried the games last year but they have not said anything as of yet.

I never understood why ESPN and/or the NCAA would not or are not willing to grant broadcasting rights of the Frozen Four to TSN or any other national Canadian outlet. You would think that with all of the Canadians that play collegiate hockey in the US that they would, but they don't. Go figure.

It's actually a case of the Canadian broadcasters not being interested in the rights.
I think this is probably more accurate as I remember seeing it on the NHL network in the past.
I remember that too, the whole reason I purchased NHL network. I'd settle for webcast, I'd even pay for it. Rob is right, NCAA takes the fall in Canada for their tight rules of Junior eligibility etc, but Canada can be just as bad, if it isn't Junior or NHL, forget it.

And IMO, that's really sad because people like you and Rob who want to see these players play, especially the Canadian-born ones, won't have that opportunity. But chalk up to all the political BS (excuse me) from both sides of the border for that one.
On another note, I get CBSSD, for the past two weeks, all I have seen on that channel night and day are the BC vs NOtre Dame, and Colorado College vs ......? over and over again, even though the guide says NCAA Basketball.

Its really too bad a network like NBC who holds the NHL contract doesn't step up and televise the Frozen Four as it would just give the game further exposure and likely help NBC a little in the end as a result. Plus us Canadians could watch it still
I hope Shaw TV does get their National Sports channel, they have a chance to go off the grid and pick up events that other sports networks just don't air. It would be fantastic to see more CHL games televised as well as some NCAA hockey and of course they could sign an AHL TV deal which I think could go over pretty well.
Not that there isn't enough sports networks in Canada already, but they seem more interested in televising poker than an actual sport.

The problem is ESPN holds the exclusive televising rights to ALL NCAA Championships, and sadly the contract was renewed back in December, extending it through the 2023-24 season.

But TSN in Canada picks up the football and basketball finals, just comes back to not picking up the hockey off of ESPN? In Canada, go figure. Maybe I'll have to sneak over to Bangor for a shopping trip that weekend.
Apparently TSN2 is showing a replay of the game at 2pm AST today.
Yeah they are, watching it right now. Oh the cost of live entertainment, should have shut myself off from the world yesterday, and waited for 2PM today.
