Graf supra g3

Does anyone has some experience with this skate? They are available at a big discount compared other Graf skates at this level. I know graf isn't currently making this skate and was wondering if there is some issue with it? I am interested in it because I have owned the 703 and 704 in the past and loved them. The only issue I've had with the 7 series graf skates is they tend to soak alot of water and I would think the materials in the g series skates may help with that problem.

You don't have to worry about the problem with the skates soaking a lot of water. I have the G5s and that's not an issue.

G3 fits a bit differently than a 703, so you might make sure they fit your foot before you buy.

Hmm unfortunately I don't have a anywhere to try these skates on. Looking at pictures of the skate they look like they are a little bit higher volume than the 703. Most of what I have read says they have the same fit profile as the 703 but they do look slightly different.

They are a very narrow skate so make sure they fit, but I have G35's and they are great. They don't absorb water, didn't think the 7 series did either though. They are a bit heavier than most other company's skates though.

I have a narrow low volume foot so hopefully the fit is going to work. I've really liked the grafs I have owned in the past, I was not sure if there was some reason they stopped making this model. I should be receiving the skates sometime today, I'll write up a little review since I haven't been able to find much on the Internet. There are several sites selling them for $279 so they are a great deal if are as good as the other graf skates I've had.

I got the skates and they seem like they are going to fit great. They are the 2009 model. They have a couple blemishes.

1. There are some small chips in the composite material on the boot.
2. The outsole and boot don't connect perfectly, the outsole is slightly wider than it needs to be in the forefoot.

I'm not sure if these belmeshies are going to effect the durability of the skate but they explaine the price. I kind of suspect the composite on the boot is not going to hold up great. Tomarow I'll get to try them out on the ice.

I have some chips/tears in the outsole of the boot from pucks. Doesn't make much of a difference when using. I just colored in with a Sharpie.

Also heard similar things about the outsole, but if it's still centered correctly it shouldn't be an issue. They aren't the prettiest connections but seem to hold up just fine.
