Don't know if it's a down year for him or what but Schenn has been godawful every time I've seen the Leafs this season...most Leaf fans seem to agree too.

I agree that it might not have been his better year, but he still very young and i wouldn't gave up on him too soon. You can say the same thing for Matt Duchene and Drew Doughty. Both have horrible year, but are still very young and i would gave up anything to have them on my team.

They would only agree on their board though.. On the main trade rumor board Schenn is a totally different player than he is on the Leaf board considering some of the numerous trade proposals Leaf fans include him in..

I would trade for both Schenn and Dion and transform them into forwards.
We should know at 1 p.m. today what the play-off schedule is for the 1st round and who is showing what. I expect the CBC to take both Canadian clubs. The year they didn't pick the Habs (thank God - TSN's hockey show is so much better) it was only because there were three Canadian clubs, and Ottawa was playing Crosby.
Really looking forward to the Pens - Flyers series. That one should be fun.
The most boring series by far: New Jersey - Florida. Is anyone going to watch that? lol I might just to watch Bryce Salvador and Jason Garrison two defensemen who are UFA this year, but it's definitely NOT must watch TV for me.
I have no confidence in the Caps abilities in the playoffs, but I'll hope beyond hope that maybe, just maybe, they can get it together.
They just got Backstrom back right? I liek their chances a lot more than Ottawa. If Ovechkin can get the ball rolling all the flopping in the world wont save timmah.

Except for the fact that both Doughty and Duchene are way more talented than Schenn and they actually showed how good they can be over the course of the full season, plus Schenn was bad last year as well.

ya i am pretty insulted by CBC not picking up the Habs-Caps series but after game 1 TSN was did a uch better job then they did
One thing i like about CBC through is their pre-game intros i find TSN kinda lame and tacky

CBC also thought the Habs would be out in four straight. ****, it sucks not being in the playoffs. That run was awesome.
Not surprised CBC picked up Detroit. They're a very popular team, especially in western Ontario. That 4-5 series should be good too.
Naturally, the first 2 games of the Nashville - Detroit, Pitts -Philly series conflict. Those are the 2 series that most people seem to want to watch. I'll be doing a lot of channel surfing, I guess.
Also, how is CBC going to divvy up the Boston - Washington series, and Ottawa - NYR series 1st game on Thursday. East coast gets Boston, west coast Ottawa? That'll be interesting.
Update: Ottawa's coast to coast on Thursday. Bruins online.
