Lidstrom's made him look like a good #2. Even prior to Lidstrom he looked like a solid two-way 3/4 guy that had a bad half of the season last year. If he's put with any solid two-way defenseman he generally looks good. Pretty much every team out there could have used defenseman that can play 25 minutes a game in all situations without getting abused for 3 million.

I'll also never forget that dirty hit Stoll put on him too

We're happy with Brent Burns though in the bay.
