Are you sure you know what your saying...? I have been told on numerous occasions unrelated to this topic that Moulson has scored 30 goals before he ever played with Tavares.
Who's ever telling you that is wrong. Moulson didn't score 30 goals in the NHL untill the 2009-10 NHL season, Tavares's rookie year, when he got 30 playing on Tavares's wing. Without that season, Moulson is likely in Europe or still in the AHL.

Meh i have been told by islanders fans before when citing Moulson as garbage that he scored 30 goals that year without Tavares on his line but i dont know anything so i wont argue.

Not sure what Islanders fans you've been talking to. 09-10 was Tavares' rookie season and Moulson's first full season. He had played a handful of games with LA in the two prior seasons, never scoring more than 5 in a year. Tavares and Moulson have played together all 3 seasons. Except for about 5 games last year (3 of those were because Tavares was injured).
I've grown to hate "but his linemates are better" arguments among elite players. Elite players will produce elitely no matter who is on their line, and while I'm not ready to put Giroux in top five in the NHL, he's at least proven he's elite.
Anyway, age is the one thing that's really in JTs favor. He's probably a little overrated right now because of less what he does on the ice and more of his potential, but he's definitely a stud. Maybe next year he can crack the top 25 under 25.

It's more about system than linemates. Lavy's system encourages offense, he's got the personnel to play that style too.

Moulson has always played with JT on the Isles, regardless of what anybody's told you.
I think it's a lot closer than the polling results currently are, but to me the most surprising thing about Tavares is that he finished 7th in the league in game-winning goals. On the Islanders. (Giroux was 59th).
