What's funny is that as cliched and unoriginal as that naming style is, the word hop lends itself to so many appropriate puns that a lot of those names are actually pretty good. Personally I think Alpine's "Exponential Hoppyness" (which I've never had and it's one of those white whales that's almost impossible to get ahold of) is one of the best ones, because they actually increase the hop bill exponentially (2,4,8,16,...) during the brewing.
I've got an IPA in secondary right now that should be ready to tap as soon as we have an empty keg to put it in, and I'm also thinking about what to call it. It's a fairly light west coast IPA that used pilsner malt with cascade and citra hops. Should be a good summer beer.
