Perhaps Koala wanted the toughest team first? Before all the injuries set in? IDK, seems kind of crazy still. I still think the easiest route is the best.. and that would be playing the Blues and not the Canucks.

What happened was, the staff wanted to give Greiss some playing time if the division title was out of reach. Clowe and White are playing injured apparently, and since the game was chippy and they are one of the more physical players, they decided to rest them instead. If they wanted to lose, they would've benched Couture or someone actually important. They would even have an excuse (precaution after the hit).

I read rumors that Clowe asked the coach to atleast let him sit on the bench as he has a way of helping the team from there.
