Massachusetts has great schools and we are proud of that, celebrating the prestige this state has built for centuries is something to be proud of, to me that's why we all work so hard, so we can earn the right to celebrate things like the bruins, holidays, a local college winning a national title etc, extracurricular things not essential to survival but without them, life would be damn boring

I'm not a fan of bc and I think a lot of kids that go there are over privileged snots, but ya know what? Some of them are great people and will go on to do great thing, all the while their hockey team, captained by a local boy, won it all. I'm proud of that and I congratulate them for their hard work.

He was on Ch. 5 last night.

Sounds like he won't be. 3 games left.

He basically said it was time to finish up and then after graduation shift gears and get ready for pro hockey (I'm paraphrasing)

Why would they? Both teams play in Ontario, Canada. Get the sarcasm.

You go back to the fans....this has nothing to do with the fans or if they care or not. They aren't honoring the fans. They are honoring the team.

Even then, plenty of people in Boston care about college hockey. The Beanpot, the HE Tournament, the NCAAs are all played in and around the city each year in front of full arenas.

Also, how would it be somewhat "justified" to honor UMass either? The Bruins don't give a **** who we fans are giving our money to in this state. They Bruins are a private organization.

She mentioned Tommy being Bruins property and both Jared and Dougie are so shouldn't they be entitled if they win the Memorial Cup? But I was joking thats why i used the sarcasm face.
