I'm betting that Subban quickly emerges as the teams #1 dman, at least depending on who the coach is.
Subban will rip it up on the bigger ice surface
hoping DD/Gorges get invites as well, a bit less likely, though depending on what teams have an early exit and what players decline an invite, they should get some consideration.
if Kaberle's not going b/c he declined the invite (and/or his mystery injury is serious enough to keep him out), he'd better be 100% committed to getting his arse in shape during the offseason.
even then, as we saw with Gomez, it may be too little too late, but the very least he could do is show up in camp fit and determined to be an serious NHLer again, as opposed to just coasting on reputation and smooth passing.
Really? I'm not really all that surprised personally because his play has slipped due to injury and all but there are some on this board still claiming he's the next Lidstrom. This news should bring them back to earth.
