My gut tells me the islanders have the lottery all wrapped up. Gotta keep those stars in the eastern US.

Knight was Toronto's 2nd round pick. The other two players are 1st rounders.

If the Leafs win it, I'm going to avoid their forum like the plague for the rest of my days.

It'll only take a matter of seconds before a "Yakupov > Ovechkin?" thread pops up, pro-rating mysterious stats from a sample stretch of games that holds no actual value... Ugh, I can already see it.

How is the lottery working ? They will simply pick 1 winning ball, and the winning team jumps up 4 spots, that's it ? The show will last 5-10 minutes ?

It's bad enough they gifted wrapped Boston; Seguin, Knight & Hamilton (Rask, in a different trade) but now they have the opportunity to **** on us again by winning the lottery.

They will become the Toronto Maple Trolls.

Equal on ROW, next tiebreaker is goal differential. And Anaheim has better GD so they're up front.

Islanders and Oilers should have their percentage of winning decreased due to perpetual suckage....
