What was the difference between obstructed view and full price obstructed view on ticket master?

there were two different options to choose from.

Are the $40 obstructed views in the balcony??

I'd imagine they put them on sale sometime in the 2nd round if we get that far.

I think the $40 obstructed views (actually $54 after tm fees) are the last row or two in the 400s under the west balcony. I got tickets for round 1 game 2 in sec 415 row G that came to $54 each. Tickets I got in sec 428, also obstructed, were $98 each. I assume these are the obstructed view full price.

The $54 tickets are the way to go as you can see the whole ice. Of course you have to sit when the puck is at the far end and stand when it's at the near end!

Got two tickets to Game 1 from a poster here for less than the going rate on Ticketmaster/Stubhub. Looking forward to going. Thanks, you know who you are.

That same seat face value is well about $128 now at Citi Field. Maybe the last 14 years went by fast for me and it feels like yesterday .But my salary didn't go up 10x from 2002 to 2012.

Rangers games at that time (while I was in college) I used to get the 300s seats for $40 I remember. (vs the islanders)

One time we splurged for 100s ($120) and once for the 200s ($65).

Tower records had tickets for sale all year.

That was reasonable for a college kid making $80 a week. Now you have to usually pay over $100 just for the worst seats. Am I sounding like my mom talking about how much she paid for her house in 1970?

I have the ticket from the first game I ever went to. Opening night 10/10/73 vs the Red Wings. Rangers won 4-1
Section 413 Row G
$5 a ticket not bad for opening Night
If I remember(I was only 9) my Grandfather and Father went and we got tickets right at the Box Office before the game!

Does section 2 include anything special -- like club seats for example.

Access to special dinning area's or free food etc .

You have access to the Delta Sky 360 Club which does have the free food and non alcoholic beverages. You may also have access the 1879 Club though I'm not a 100 percent sure.
