Toronto is probably trading their pick for Nash anyways. It makes complete sense as it fits all their needs.

In a way, I could see CLB temped to get both Yakupov and Galchenyuk. Off course TOR would have to add.

I wouldn't mind to see Toronto trade away their future again.

The worst thing about Toronto trades is that Burke comes out after the trade and announces that he kicked ass and he's awesome. Then 3 years later they miss the playoffs (for the 6th consecutive time) and he still stands by his decision even though it was obviously the wrong one.

Ohhhh and i agree. I would like not to have constant comparing of either Grigo for us and Gally for them or the other way around.

I already accepted that Toronto is going to win it. It's the only scenario I would absolutely hate, and thus by the laws of the universe it's the only one that can happen.

Then that can only mean they will pick a player that will bust. The mapple leafs just suck. it's one of those laws the universe created right after the big bang.

This is going to be just another disappointment in a season filled with them.

Considering the Blue Jackets were only asking for a 1st + Dubinsky+ Kreider+ Del Zotto for Nash, I'm sure that the Leafs could package their #5 with other assets to get him.

That's a great idea, Toronto!!! They've just one-upped the Habs again.
The Leafs will be a team to be reckoned with for years to come.

Actually in both cases, both cities will explode

I can handle picking 4th. I cannot handle Toronto picking 1st.

The best case scenario if we don't win, is that the team that's 4 places behind Toronto does.
As much as I want us to win, it would be hilarious if only Toronto drops out of the top 5.

Why?

I'm hoping Winnipeg wins it if we don't(and move up to #5)...that would push them up to 5 and the top 4 would stay intact.

Right, but we won't know that until the rest of the cards are shown. Until then, my heart will be on the floor.

But if Winnipeg wins it, you'll see the Leafs logo on the "picking 6th" card.

Same here. I have the feeling that the lotto will screw us badly. Everything that could go wrong this year has gone wrong, this is just the logical culmination.

I've had the opposite feeling where I see the Habs getting the #1 pick and the town going nuts. Of course, it's pretty much the same as me becoming a millionaire and buying everyone in my family a house once I cash in my winning lottery ticket.

After 5 fortunate hits, sixth was Anaheim. Good news though!

Freaking Islanders keep popping up but after 15 tries no T.O in sight.

Leafs won 4 out of 7 for me. Every damn simulation I try, the Leafs win.
