Burgess has pretty much covered everything i would. Foxsports will cover one of the series but it will always be a us matchup and typically western conference. Im guessing they will show philly-pitt if they show the eastern conference. To that end i just checked the foxtel planner and there was no mention of any nhl gmaes being shown live, its all baseball but that could change closer to the date. Your only option is to stream until/if we make the cobference finals.at least.
As AP has said, you can stream through a proxy and watch at cbc.ca, personally i have only done that once, it was alright.
I pay for center ice online all season , i would just recommend getting a monthly subscription (about 20 bucks i think) and if you really want to watch in tv just output from your pc to tv. Quality isnt to bad.
Burgess if youre in brisbane do you get to watch the games live? Im always at work so i usually listen to the team 1200 broadcast. This time I am planning on staying well away from the internet and watching the games after work. Also wondering if you want to catchup for a game and have some brews pm me.
Sorry about spelling/punctuation i am.moving house and have no internet (apparently until thurs, telstra better not **** up) so i am on my phone
I'd be down for that. I watch the games live because I work from home, but if I'm planning to watch one at night I can hold myself back.
... will need uninstall the Gamecenter app from my phone though .. that thing sends me about 20 messages a game.

I'll PM you now.
Romania is way ahead of you. Me and my romanian buddy the Swedish Flash already been to local hockey games here, chat regularly about the Sens and will watch the playoffs together via Gamecenter.
1. EA NHL games when I was a kid. There were no computer games for the games we played (Rugby League and Cricket) and the hockey game was more fun than Madden.
2. I lived in Canada for all of 2002 (Toronto then Ottawa). Watching hockey games at the pub, especially Toronto games, is a great way to meet people when you are living in a big city and don't know anybody.
3. I've been back to Canada every two years since then and all of my friends there love the Sens.
We put up an Australian at our house in Ottawa for the better part of a year while he was doing a co-op placement in town, and he was awesome. He learned to love two things while in Canada.
1) Hockey
2) the Roots line of stores.
Buy the playoff package online from NHL.com (only guarantee that streams will work)
Get up early
Walk to Queen Vic market for breakfast
Fight hangover
Watch game by yourself
Enjoy (or be miserable depending on outcome)the rest of the day
