Lineup changes are expected on both ends. Matt Carkner's been removed from the Ottawa lineup in favor of Matty Gilroy, and Kaspars Daugavins looks to draw in for the recently-injured Chris Neil. Good news on the Neil injury front: It doesn't appear to be serious, and shouldn't hold him out of playoff action.

Thank god. Going into the playoffs without him would not be good.

I think it is posturing by management. We won't know if he is going to play till the day before, they are going to disguise this as the Bruins have with Boychuk. Sorry to be negative but no one will know right now, it is gamesmanship.
There will be no info on any injury at this time of year. The best you'll get is an upper body injury. Plus a bunch of downplaying the injury so as not to let on how serious it is. Doesn't mean a player won't play though. A guy like Neil would play with a broken leg if he had to.
Neil being ready for the playoffs is great news, but I'm worried he may tone down the physical play to avoid getting injured again, although that seems kind of uncharacteristic of him. On the other hand he could play his heart out only to get injured again quickly. All we can do is hope for the best, I guess

Maybe he'll tone down the dipsy doodle moves to avoid getting injured again... that is what caused this injury after all.
