Columbus : Will Weber (2007), Jake Hansen (2007), Trent Vogelhuber (2007)
Dallas : Mike Bergin (2008), Nico Sacchetti (2007)

Tampa Bay : Matt Marshall (2007)
Toronto : Grant Rollheiser (2008)
Vancouver : Taylor Matson (2007)
Winnipeg : Daulton Leveille (2008)

Players who left the NCAA early and didn't sign NHL contracts. (aka I have no clue about these ones and maybe a "CBA expert" could help us.)

Corey Fienhage (Buffalo 2008)
David Pacan (Chicago 2009 - traded to Florida)
Josh Birkholz (Florida 2009)
Cam Reid (Nashville 2009)
Taylor Stefishen (Nashville 2008 - traded to Washington)
David Toews (NYI 2008)
Brad Philips (Philadelphia 2007)
Scott Darling (Phoenix 2007)
William Wrenn (San Jose 2009)
Andrew Glass (Washington 2007)

-------
Notes
-I expect most of these players to go unsigned.
-Ryan Hegarty (Anaheim), Nicholas Tremblay (Boston), Trent Vogelhuber (Columbus) and Corbin McPherson (New Jersey) are currently playing in the AHL under ATOs contracts.
-Bradley Eidsness (Buffalo) just signed a try-out contract with Reading in the ECHL.
I wonder if WPG will sign Leveille, they're better off with receiving a compensatory 2nd.

Anyone have an update in Jack Connolly? It seems like he's taking a long time to make his decision

I heard him on the radio the other day and he said that he plans on finishing his school year and then see what happens. When asked if he had had interest from NHL teams he said not much and if he doesn't sign with an NHL team he will head to Europe next season.

I was surprised that he hadn't had any serious offers.

The Canes have signed forward Jeremy Welsh of Union College to an entry-level contract. The one-year deal will pay Welsh $832,500 on the NHL level and $70,000 on the AHL level, along with a signing bonus of $92,500.

Welsh will join the Hurricanes in Florida for the team’s final game of the 2011-12 NHL season.

Ron Francis, the Canes' director of hockey operations, said Welsh "provides another big body" down the middle and praised his character and leadership in college as well as his scoring ability.

Welsh will be a group II this summer. He got the max signing bonus of $92,500. Not a bad deal for 1 game. Welsh can sign a SPC for 1 way money next season.

What I love about Carolina (Calgary also does this) is they give you salary details on their signings.

Pretty good. He gets to play in 1 game and have it count as a season, then be an RFA this summer.

From CBA

If a Player drafted at age 18 or 19 is a bona fide college student at the time of his selection in the Entry Draft, or becomes a bona fide college student prior to the first June 1 following his selection in the Entry Draft, and does not remain a bona fide college student through the graduation of his college class, his drafting Club shall retain exclusive rights for the negotiation of his services until the fourth June 1 following his selection in the Entry Draft. The Club need not make a Bona Fide Offer to such Player to retain such rights.

Following this rule

Corey Fienhage (Buffalo 2008) - Buffalo has his rights until June 1st 2012
David Pacan (Chicago 2009 - traded to Florida) - Florida has his rights until June 1st 2013
Josh Birkholz (Florida 2009) - Florida has his rights until June 1st 2013
Cam Reid (Nashville 2009) - ? (Didn't become a bona fide college student prior to the first June 1 following his selection in the Entry Draft)
*Taylor Stefishen (Nashville 2008 - traded to Washington) - Washington has his rights until June 1st 2012
*David Toews (NYI 2008 - traded to Chicago) - Chicago has his rights until June 1st 2012
Brad Philips (Philadelphia 2007) - Released in 2011
Scott Darling (Phoenix 2007) - Released in 2011
William Wrenn (San Jose 2009) - San Jose has his rights until June 1st 2013
*Andrew Glass (Washington 2007) - - ? (Didn't become a bona fide college student prior to the first June 1 following his selection in the Entry Draft)

I guess that the following two players have already been released :

*Stefishen : Played in 2011-2012 for the University of Calgary
*Glass : Played in 2011-2012 for the Carleton University in Canada.

Odd question, does Carolina have to have to sign Andersen (2010 pick) or do his rights carry over past this season?

BTW, though it's an AHL contract so not going to be listed, the Devils added a third Zajac to their organization after signing Kelly Zajac to an AHL deal, to go with Travs on an NHL deal and Darcy on another AHL deal. If they can convince Nolan to come out of college early, they could field 4 Zajacs in their organization.
