If he leaves NJ, it's Detroit. How could you pass up max money and playing on Datsyuk's wing? That's right, you can't. He fits the system perfectly, and the Wings only really need one big FA to be a top 3 team again. Plenty of prospects to fill in where needed. He needs to come here!!!

If that is indeed the case, I see Zach in Buffalo without question.
Roy will be moved before Vanek.

And, if the Sabres were to trade Vanek, you can bet they'd first want to make sure they'd have Parise locked up before doing so. Dealing Vanek and then missing out on Parise is too big a gamble and would leave the Sabres' offense even weaker than it was this season.

This is why I hope Detroit plays well in these playoffs - it would definitely help getting Parise and Suter. If Det goes to conf. finals or longer and Parise leaves, I would bet my money that he goes to Detroit.

Take this with grain of salt because I don't have a lot of money.

This. No way they'd trade Vanek and then miss out on Parise because they'd be really in a bad position - they'd be left to fill the roster out with B-level free agents who might end up being busts.
