I don`t have issues with it, there has always been this in sports, a team starts something trying to create a tradition or connection with fans, it`s a success and other teams follow.

Were the Rags the first in the NHL to start with the raising of the sticks to acknowledge the fans after games??? I know it had been done in Europe for some time but....

I don't know, but I do know they're not the only ones to do the stick raise, and not the only ones to do the shirts off their backs either.

Why shouldn't teams pick up something that other teams do? There's no copyright infringement.

Agreed, I don`t care if one team follows a solid idea from another. Anything that shows appreciation to those who fill the seats is hardly an issue for me.

Next year though, the B`s gotta take it up a notch, skates given too

I think teams should create their own unique ways to end the season and reward the fans rather than copy someone else.

Teams have entire departments dedicated to marketing (or they farm it out) and this is the best they can come up with....weak.
