they're all nationally televised. nbc sports, cnbc or nhl network. all bars will have it on. definitely have to go to a bar if it's on nhl network, hotel won't have it.

From what I understand-- beginning this year, local networks have rights to round 1 only, and only in local television markets. Those who aren't in the NY market, will be subjected to watching national telecasts. However, NHL network has Game 1 and Game 2, and usually they stream feeds from local broadcasters, so I'm hoping to get MSG feed on NHL Net first two games.

edit: game 1 only on nhl. so annoyed i paid for center ice with all these garbage rules. half my games were blacked out on msg

All the games WILL be on nationally broadcast TV, either NBC Sports Network or CNBC. But remember the games will have a 4:00pm start time since you'll be on Pacific time.

If it's broadcast nationally and locally the national broadcast is typically blacked out locally because they have the broadcast rights but for those outside of the region, they'll get the national broadcast.

I travel pretty frequently for work. Your best bet is to hit up some sort of chain bar/restaurant, like an Applebee's or a Buffalo Wild Wings.

If you're close to Staples Center, you can hit up ESPN Zone at LA Live.

But ESPN doesn't show hockey, they only care about sports they have contracts with.

The NHL package doesn't carry playoff games, since they're all nationally televised. (MSG broadcast available for all games, in NY area)

Game 1, NHL Network
Game 2, NBC Sports Network
Game 3, CNBC
Game 4, CNBC
Game 5, NBC Sports Network
Game 6, TBA
Game 7, TBA
