Oh, they also think that our team is a dirty bunch and will try to injure Franzen and Datsyuk. Lol.

OT: does anyone else get tired of 1045 the zone coverage of the Preds?!? It's minimal to none. I'd listen to 1025 the game but they don't have a midday show. I am on road by 8am my time and by then it is 10am in Nashville so I have 5 hours of dead time til 3pm. Pisses me off
I didn't even know people still listened to 1045. I only listen to 102.5 since they took over the Preds coverage.

We'll see.......
If Franzen wakes up, it might be lights out. Sorry but he singlehandedly beat Colorado by himself in 08.

104.5 is no longer 'on the hook' for Preds coverage because that has been moved to 102.5. Since they no longer are the Preds station they don't feel the need to talk about us. 102.5 is the clear-cut leader in Preds coverage. 104.5 is fine because I like 3HL a lot, but I know they never talk about the Preds. I think it's funny that 104.5 moved their best show (3HL) to 3-6pm because 102.5 was picking up momentum in town so they wanted to take some of it away.

hey guys, looking for some fantasy advice (hope it's okay to ask ITT)...anyways, this is my team, GO PREDS:

1 Rinne, P (NAS) (G) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
2 Radulov, A (NAS) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
3 Kostitsyn, S (NAS) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
4 Fisher, M (NAS) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
5 McDonald, A (STL) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
6 Berglund, P (STL) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
7 Perron, D (STL) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
8 Staal, J (PIT) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
9 Dupuis, P (PIT) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
10 Sullivan, S (PIT) (F) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
11 Suter, R (NAS) (D) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
12 McDonagh, R (NYR) (D) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
13 Niskanen, M (PIT) (D) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
14 Klein, K (NAS) (D) -! - 0 1 1 0.00
0 0 0 14 14 0.00

Sergie Kostitsyn's points have dropped off since Radulov entered the picture, while Hornqvist has done better since Radulov showed up: should I drop Sergei and insert Hornqvist while he's available in my pool? What are the line combos looking to be for this series?

Thanks in advance!

As much as I like Sergei, going with Hornqvist is probably the safer and better bet. He will get PP time and clean up some garbage goals hopefully.

Well IF Pekka stays awake, it might be lights out. Sorry but he has singlehandedly beaten teams by himself on numerous occasions.

Sergei's production has zero to do with Radulov since they don't play on the same line. In fact, for the most part, SK, Radu, and Hornquist all play on different lines. Pick up horn over Berglund

there is no such thing as darkhorse pick in the west, outside of Phoenix, and that is because not many respect them like they should. It wouldn't surprise me if any of the 8 teams made the finals.

There was something else I was going to quote but the season isn't over yet so I won't tempt fate. Still, it makes for good reading at the moment and still will after the game tonight.

I get your point. The Mule can be a beast in the play offs. Didn't he have something like five goals in >10 minutes of ice time during a first period once? Maybe it was four. I don't remember.

Anyway, we are talking about a number 1 seed Detroit team that finished with 115 points and a +73 goal differential who also ended up winning the Cup against an incredibly injured sixth seed Colorado team with a +12 goal differential who dropped a weak 3rd seed (Minnesota) to make it to the second round. Entirely different situation.

I could say IF Howard gets lit up like Hasek did in those two games against Nashville in 2008 there is no Osgood to bail the Wings out

Seriously, though, if "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts this stupid saying wouldn't ****ing exist

Does anyone know of anything that redwing players fear? Last year doing the gnome thing was priceless and I think worked very well. Any ideas?

Prostate exams? I don't know how the pictures would go over at the Bridge, though.

Yeah let's not have any of those kinds of pictures at the glass tomorrow night

I honestly don't think the Wings have any players with the kinds of weird goings-on in their heads like Perry has. Maybe we can dress someone up like an attorney, and he can pretend to be trying to serve Bert with a subpoena or something

Well if nothing else someone can bring gnomes to the game and see if any Wings players have gnomophobia.

It would be pretty funny to have signs calling them the Detroit Red Wings presented by A Class Action Law Suit... err... a Pyramid Scheme... err... Amway

I dislike Amway but from what I've researched they aren't actually a pyramid scheme.

Found out today Bryz fears bears so I am trying to convince pens fans to bring cut outs of bears to the game.

Maybe spiders? Maybe bringing walkers to suggest old age? There has to be something we can use for psychological warfare

Yeah. I know the FTC investigated it, and found that they were not a pyramid scheme. However, Amway was found to be involved in other wrong-doing. I just think it's funny as hell that they are the Red Wings presented by Amway, and it does leave us open to mock them for it.

He could barely move? How can you be sure he wasn't just perfectly healthy and trying to skate normally?

Seriously, I hope the big guy is okay and is just resting up. He was scratched (healthy?) during the game against the Avs but played the one before IIRC.
