He's not going to sign an ATO...he's going to sign a regular entry level contract

He seems intent on finishing his degree. I don't blame him. Once you walk away from that it's hard to come back.

Finals are usually first/second week of May. Don't see why you would throw away a semester you already worked 3 moths for. Not sure if there are certain exemptions which can be arranged, but whatever.

The team that's here finished first in the East. It would have been nice to have depth and not have to play Mitchell (ugh), but I'm confident.

I mean he's clearly going to sports law 101 to determine the fastest way he can get out of a rangers contract while winning a cup so he can go sign with the Bruins.

Almost positive something could be worked out so that he could finish and get credit for the classes he's taking now

Similar situation happened with my friend. He came down with a bad case of mono with just a couple weeks left in the semester. He was unable to attend finals but when he was back in good health he was allowed to go to the department which the final was for and take the final in the deans office. I'm sure Kreider could get the same treatment.

This is going to be like the Nash thread isn't it? All tease with no payoff.

Nash will be here in July, or Bobby Ryan as a consolation prize

oh haha, yeah i agree. i have wanted him on this team since last year, nash just makes too much and i feel like he would flop here. ryan should be our first target this summer.

anyway, this needs to be resolved already im tired of waiting for nothing.

I'm confident the school would have something in place for an athlete to leave school early and come back and finish up his studies.

You have to remember, Kreider will be making millions down the road. Guess who will be giving him a call for some of that money...the BC Alumni Dept.

I scratch your back, you scratch mine.

It's not professionals. It's BC sports network. Most likely a student journalism network.

It seems like everyone is just speculating though.. all "news" articles or blogs/tweets use language like "all things point to" and similar uncertain phrases.. just looks like hedging to me.

If people freak out about Dubinsky's lack of living up to a contract, imagine what would happen if Nash came and flopped.

We've had enough flopping, past-their-prime, overpaid players. I dont need to name them.

considering he has class now and the celebrations tonight, we're not going to hear any updates for a while.

No doubt that Nash would be overpaid, but flopping and past their prime does NOt fit his description.

IMO he would do very well in NY. He's very talented. He's definetly that elite piece that is required to put us over the top as legit contenders.
