How you became a Canes fan: became mildly interested around the 2000-01 season just because they were the home team and on TV; developed into a full-fledged obsession during the playoffs that year

I first want to say that if the Bruins are playing the Canes then I hope they kick their ass. Otherwise, I think I'll begin rooting for the Canes this next season. Just moved to Concord, NC. Born and raised in the Boston metro region. I'm already a fan of the Bobcats (yeah, I know), but hockey is definitely superior to basketball. Oh, and my grandmother is from Lumberton, NC and I have a great deal of North Carolinian ancestry. Because of the this I've always had an affinity in all things 'North Carolina'.
